"Reading" Notes: Epified Mahabharata: Karmic Revolution

I liked watching these videos over the Mahabharata this week. I feel like with reading the Mahabharata a couple weeks ago, my biggest struggle was following the story lines and remembering all the characters as well as recalling all the information from earlier parts in the story. I'm a visual learner and seeing the characters on the screen helped a lot with that. Each video is pretty short and also includes a recap from the previous video which really helped me remember parts of the story. The way they framed the video was also a lot different from the way the previous version recalled this epic. The narrator emphasized the parts that were especially important such as Devavrat/Bhishma being a central character (and the son of the goddess Ganga) and his boon about choosing when to die and Amba's vow for revenge against him, and how karma plays a role in the story and its order.

I think a possible story line for my story this week would be Amba's viewpoint about being kidnapped, then spurned by her love Shalwa, and after that, spurned by Bhishma. Another possible story could be Shantanu's viewpoint over watching Ganga kill 7 of their children.
